Barrett Eidson '23 Signs with Cork City FC

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's soccer graduate Barrett Eidson '23 has signed with Cork City FC in the League of Ireland's Women's Premier Division.
In her five-year career as a midfielder at UNC Asheville, Eidson made 79 appearances including 69 starts while totaling five goals and adding three assists for 13 career points. She totaled 5,671 minutes on the pitch wearing the Blue and White, while earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® honors twice. Eidson graduated in December 2023 with a bachelor's degree in new media with a minor in psychology.
"During my time at UNC Asheville, I was able to grow as a player and person all thanks to the staff, my teammates, and my friends and family," said Eidson. "I'm so thankful for everyone who believed in me and helped me believe in myself. Playing professionally has always been a dream of mine, and now it's finally come true! I can't wait for the rest of the season and to keep playing the sport I love!"
