Women's Tennis Season Ends in NCAA First Round Loss to No. 20 Florida State

ATHENS, Ga. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis saw its 2023-24 season come to an end in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against No. 20 Florida State with a hard-fought 4-0 loss.
No. 20 Florida State captured the doubles point with two victories, while Angelina Joy Hug and Rosie Dickson were ahead 5-3 in their No. 2 doubles match before the match was called unfinished.
Dickson won a first-set tiebreaker 7-6 (7-4) at No. 5 against Kristyna Lavickova, before the match was called unfinished at 1-1 in the second set.Â
