Men's Tennis Drops Monday Tilt with Florida Gulf Coast

FORT MYERS, Fla. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis dropped a Monday (Mar. 11) non-conference tilt with Florida Gulf Coast by a score of 4-2.

Asheville picked up one win in doubles play while Florida Gulf Coast captured the doubles point, before the Eagles captured the win in singles play with three wins.

Cian Ingles and Bruno Serra beat John Zakowski and Ninad Raut 6-2 at No. 3 doubles for the lone Bulldog victory in doubles play. Sam Nicholson began singles play with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles over Pablo Paternostro, before Ingles picked up another win for the Bulldogs at No. 5 singles over Zakowski by a score of 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4).
