Bulldogs Win Fourth Straight with 4-2 Victory over Wofford on Thursday

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis won its fourth straight with a 4-2 victory over Wofford on Thursday (Feb. 8). Asheville has now won four matches in a row at some point in six of the last seven seasons and accomplished the feat for the first time since the 2022 season.
Asheville took two out of three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point, before winning three singles matches to secure the win.
Jon Brann Reid and Rafa Serra tied doubles play with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles over Max Graham and Alex Horn, before Sam Nicholson and Freddy Murray clinched the doubles point for Asheville with a 6-3 victory over Will Fullett and Robbie Young at No. 2.
Nicholson was Asheville's first victory in singles play with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Ashe Ray at No. 2, before Bruno Serra beat Hugo Rask 7-6 (7-5), 6-0 at No. 6. Jon Brann Reid closed things out with a 7-6 (7-0), 5-7 (0-3), 7-5 win over Fullett at No. 3 singles.
