Asheville Baseball Releases 2025 Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Baseball has released its 2025 schedule today (Monday, Dec. 2), for the program's 11th season under head coach Scott Friedholm.

"We have challenged our team this year with a tough non-conference schedule," said Friedholm. "That is the only way to be ready for the challenge of the Big South Conference schedule."
The Bulldogs welcome Farleigh Dickinson to Greenwood Field for the opening series Feb. 14-16, before heading to Knoxville to take on defending national champion Tennessee on Feb. 18. Asheville will hit the road for a three-game series at UNC Wilmington Feb. 21-23 before traveling to Wofford on Feb. 25. Asheville returns home for a three-game set with Stonehill Feb. 28-Mar. 2, before hosting Pittsburgh on Mar. 4. Asheville then embarks on a two-week road swing beginning with four games at Western Kentucky (Mar. 7-9), before the Bulldogs take on Queens (N.C.) on Mar. 11. Big South Conference play opens the next weekend at Gardner-Webb Mar. 14-16, before the Bulldogs return home for four games with Wofford on Mar. 18 and Longwood Mar. 21-23. After a quick road game at Western Carolina on Mar. 25, before the Bulldogs close out the month of March at home against Presbyterian (Mar. 28-30).

The April schedule opens the following weekend (Apr. 4-6) at Winthrop, before the Bulldogs host Queens (N.C.) on Apr. 8 followed by a three-game road swing to the University of New Orleans (Apr. 11-13). Asheville hits the road for High Point in conference play Apr. 17-19 before hosting Western Carolina for a mid-week on Apr. 23. Asheville hosts Radford in conference play Apr. 25-27, before traveling to ETSU that following Tuesday (Apr. 29) to finish out the month of April. May begins at home against ETSU on May 7, before the Bulldogs travel to Charleston Southern for their final road conference series of the regular season (May 9-11). After a road midweek contest at Charlotte on May 13, the regular season ends at home with three games against USC Upstate May 15-17.
