LAST TIME OUT
The Bulldogs returned to the court last weekend after 23 days of no competition and opened Big South Conference play with a four-set victory over Radford before falling to High Point in four sets on Saturday.
Last Friday's victory over Radford marked Asheville's first conference opener win since 2019.
LIBERO OF THE WEEK
Following her efforts last weekend, Michelle Thao earned her first career Big South weekly honor as Co-Libero of the Week. Thao finished the weekend with 58 digs, recording 36 against Radford. Thao's 36 digs is a career-high, and she is now No. 2 in program records for most digs in a four-set match. She only made one reception error on the weekend. Thao also finished the weekend with 13 assists, recording nine against Radford and three service aces. Her lone ace against High Point helped the Bulldogs win the match's opening set 27-25.
