Men's Soccer Welcomes Georgia State on Saturday for the Annual "Be The Match" Game

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Soccer welcomes Georgia State on Saturday (Sept. 9) for the program's annual "Be The Match" match. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. at Greenwood Field. Â

Promotions - Saturday's match is men's soccer's "Be The Match" game. Be The Match is an organization that helps find blood stem cell transplants for individuals who are diagnosed with life-threatening blood cancers or diseases like sickle cell. At the game, individuals between the ages of 18-40 who meet health guidelines are eligible to join the Be The Match Registry for no cost. Registration involves completing a health history form and giving a swab of cheek cells. The Bulldogs will also be wearing "Be The Match" jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit cancer research. In addition, alcohol will be sold at the concession stand.
