Last Time Out - Behind a career-high 30 points from Tajion Jones, the Bulldogs downed Campbell by a score of 78-65 on Saturday. With the victory, Asheville improved to 17-6 and 9-1 in Big South play.

Tip of the Hat to Tajion – Jones made some Bulldog basketball history on Saturday. Jones not only matched his career-high with 30 points, but he also became the program's all-time leading scorer in the Division I era passing Bulldog great Matt Dickey's 1,778 points. Jones, who has now scored 1,796 points, needs just four more points to become just the third Bulldog ever to score 1,800 points joining Bamford Jones (1,919 points – played 1974-78) and Jim McElhaney (1,904 – played 1966-71).

Pember Named Big South Player of the Week – Following his record-breaking performance on Wednesday vs. Presbyterian, Drew Pember was named the Big South's Player of the Week on Monday. Pember, who has earned this honor seven times in two seasons, scored a school record 48 points, tied school's single game record with eight 3-pointers made vs. Presbyterian. Pember's 48 points vs. the Blue Hose is the most points scored by a Division I player in a game this season and matches the most scored in a regular season game in Big South history. Furthermore, no Division I player in the last 25 years has had the stat line of 48 points, eight or more made 3-pointers, and 12 or more rebounds.

Best Big South Start Since - Asheville's 9-1 start in Big South play marks its best 10-game start to a league schedule since 2011-12. In that campaign, the Bulldogs went 16-2 in the Big South, finished 24-10 overall, and faced off against Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament (Loss - 72-65). If Asheville, which is riding an eight-game winning streak, defeats High Point it'll match the program record for most consecutive Big South wins in a season (9 - 2016-17).

About High Point - High Point will come to Asheville on Thursday sporting an overall record of 10-12 that includes a 2-8 mark in Big South action. The Panthers are led by Jaden House, who ranks third in the Big South in scoring averaging 18.0 points per game.

Series Rewind vs. High Point - The Bulldogs and Panthers have tangled over 60 times over the years. Asheville holds the edge overall winning 35 of the 61 all-time meetings. One of those wins came earlier this season, 76-72, at High Point.
