Last Time Out – The Bulldogs battled back from a halftime deficit to upend USC Upstate last Saturday by a score of 64-58. With the victory, Asheville improved to 15-6 overall and 7-1 in Big South play.

Pember Putting Up Numbers – Senior Drew Pember has put up numbers this season that rank among the best in Division I men's basketball. Pember is one of just two players (Chattanooga's Jake Stephens) to lead their conference in points (403), rebounds (203), and blocks per game (2.57). Furthermore, Pember is also first in free throws made (146) and is second in free throw attempts (175) in the country.

Jones Nearing Another Milestone – In a season where he has accomplished quite a few milestones, Tajion Jones is nearing another. Jones needs to score just 26 more points to become UNC Asheville's all-time leading scorer during the Division I era. Jones, who has scored 1,753 points during his time as a Bulldog, would surpass Matt Dickey (2008-12) and his 1,778 points for the Division I scoring record.

Stellar Start – Asheville's start this season has been one of its best in recent memory. The 15-6 overall record is its best 21-game start to a season since the 2007-08 campaign when it started 17-4. The Bulldogs have also notched their longest winning streak (6 games) and their best start to a home schedule (8-0) since 2017-18. Finally, the 7-1 Big South record is Asheville's best eight-game start to league play since 2011-12 when it started a perfect 8-0 in conference games.

About Presbyterian – Presbyterian enters Wednesday's game with Asheville sporting an overall record of 5-16, which includes a 1-7 mark in Big South play. PC will be looking for its first win away from home this season on Wednesday.

Series Rewind vs. Presbyterian – Asheville is 18-7 all-time against Presbyterian. The Bulldogs won the last three games between these two programs, including a thrilling triple overtime win last February, 98-96.
