Volleyball signs Ryann Allison to its recruiting class

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Head Volleyball Coach Frederico Santos announced Thursday the addition of Ryann Allison to his program's recruiting class. Allison joins Pelin Aksoy, Makenzi Searcy, and Bahar Kurtulus as the newest Bulldogs that are set to take the court for the team this fall.  

Ryann Allison – Setter/Rightside Hitter – 5-10 – Dripping Springs, Texas
  • Played for the Austin Performance Volleyball Club
  • Led team to a fifth-place finish in State Championships at the 5A level
  • Named the best hitter in the league in 2019
"We are so fortunate and excited to have Ryann," said Santos. "She is a very versatile player, who can set, hit and serve receive, but also possesses great leadership skills. We believe the sky is the limit for her. Can't wait to see her on the court this fall!"
