ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Asheville fans, as the calendar turned from 2021 to 2022, Bulldog Athletics had some great performances from its student-athletes. Now that the month has concluded, go and vote for who you think is the Bulldog of the Month presented by Zaxby's!

- Averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.8 blocks per game while shooting 57.6% from the floor, 56.5% from 3-point range and 82.8% from the free throw line
- Month highlighted by 41-point, 11-rebound effort in overtime win at Radford becoming the first Big South player to record a 40-point, double-double effort since 2013
- Earned third Big South Player of the Week honor, tying Asheville record for most in a season
- Opened month with 9-point, 8-block, 9-rebound effort in win at Campbell, closed it with 18-point, 9-rebound effort in win at Presbyterian
- Pember, who swatted 22 shots in the Bulldogs' eight January games, ranks in the top-10 nationally in blocks (71) and blocks per game (3.38)
- Nearly averaged a double-double in January (17.5 PPG, 8.0 RPG)
- Scored in double figures in all but one of Asheville's eight games this month, including three 20-plus point outings
- Knocked down a team-high 17 3-pointers in the first month of 2022
- Named CCSA Swimmer of the Week on January 25
- Won all six events she competed in during a double dual meet vs. rivals Liberty & Campbell
- Helped greatly by her swims, Carlton and the Bulldogs defeated Liberty for the first time in program history and Campbell for the second time ever
- 2-0 at No. 1 singles in January
- 2-0 at No. 1 doubles to start the season
- Won first singles match 6-2, 6-2. Second match 6-3, 6-2
- Reid and teammate Leo Bierbaum topped both opponents 6-1 at the No. 1 doubles
- Big South POTW for Jan 17-23
- Combined 4-0 singles and doubles record in first two matches of the season
- Won both singles matches in straight sets (6-0, 6-2; 6-0, 6-1); closest doubles match was 6-2
- Won both the shot put and weight throw at VMI's Keydet Invitational
- Set personal-bests in both of those events as well last month
- Each of his throws in both the shot put and weight throw rank among the top-five in the program's indoor history
- Broke the school's indoor record in the long jump twice this month
- Also won the triple jump at the Keydet Invitational on Jan. 21-22
- Matched her personal-best time in the 60-meter dash (7.77) as well
