ASHEVILLE, N.C. – In coordination with the University planning for the return to campus for the spring semester in which no classes will meet in person for the week of January 10-14, and after consultation with campus health and safety personnel, UNC Asheville Athletics is announcing adjustments to its basketball attendance policy due to the rise of Covid-19 numbers in the community.
Through January 16, 2022, attendance at Bulldog home basketball games will be restricted to ONLY family and friends listed on the participating teams' pass list. This limited number of spectators will still be required to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of the contest in order to attend.
No concessions will be offered and masks must be worn at all times by those in attendance.
Fans who purchased individual game tickets for any of the impacted games can exchange those tickets for a future game by contacting Harmon Turner in the UNC Asheville Athletic Ticket Office at hturner@unca.edu or (828) 258-7900.
UNC Asheville will continue to monitor the situation and communicate further updates at uncabulldogs.com and on our athletic social media channels.
All home games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
