Senior Celebration
Swimming & Diving to host Senior Celebration on Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville swimming & diving team will host a 'Senior Celebration' Saturday morning at the Justice Center Pool.The start time for the Celebration is set for 11 a.m., and it can be watched on ESPN+.
The nine seniors that will be recognized Saturday morning are: Alexis Baker, Hannah Bruno, Marlee Burgess, Lauren Dunne, Amelia Ham, MacKenzie Humphrey, Anna Nabors, Ellis Nelson, Maren Oliver. These nine student-athletes have played a vital role in the Bulldogs' success both in and out of the pool for the last four years.
The 2021-22 Bulldogs finished the dual meet season with a perfect 8-0 record that included stellar wins over Liberty, Campbell, ECU, and UNC Wilmington. Individually, Delaney Carlton (Swimmer of the Week – Twice), Mikaela Fullerton (Swimmer of the Week), and Jade Canady (Diver of the Week – 1st in program history) all earned weekly honors from the Collegiate Coastal Sports Association (CCSA) as well.
Out of the pool, the Bulldogs have also had success. Earlier this week, the Bulldogs were recognized for their work in the classroom by being named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 19th straight semester after posting a team grade-point average of 3.58.
