ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team remains home this week, hosting The Citadel on Thursday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. from Greenwood Field.
Knocking at the Door
While UNC Asheville didn't get a win on Sunday, its strong showing against Indiana State and 12 saves from goalkeeper Bronwyn Luitwieler propelled them to a 1-1 tie. Kaiya Boyd scored her first collegiate goal in the second half, as Asheville would battle for the full 110 minutes. The Bulldogs registered 12 shots in the game, tying their season high of four shots on frame.
