Men’s Tennis opens up Elon Invitational Friday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – After a weekend off, the UNC Asheville men's tennis team will compete in its second tournament of the fall season, traveling to Elon for the Elon Fall Invitational. The tournament will be played from Friday to Sunday at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
Returning to Play
The Bulldogs opened its fall season a couple of weeks ago, competing in the UNCG Fall Invitational. On day one, the Bulldogs outpointed UNCG 6-1, winning all but one singles match. On day two, Harry Thursfield went 2-0 while Rafa Serra was victorious 6-2. On day three, Bruno Sera was victorious in singles action to close out the tournament.
Tournament Information
Teams will warm up at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, with the action starting at 10:00 a.m. On Saturday and Sunday, warm ups will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the tournament starting at 9:00 a.m. each day.
