Santos adds Amy Tippett to 2021 Signing Class

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Head Volleyball Coach Frederico Santos announced Thursday the addition of Amy Tippett (Franklin, N.C.) to the program's 2021 recruiting class. Tippett is the fourth signee for Asheville during this recruiting cycle joining Carley Modlin, Nina Finderle, and Elle Thigpen.

Tippett was an All-Mountain Six Conference selection as a senior after leading the league with 229 digs.
Averaged 3.2 digs per set during her high school career and racked up over 225 digs during the last two seasons.
She is also an excellent student as she graduated high school with a grade-point average of 4.4, which ranked sixth in her class.

"We are thrilled that Amy has committed to our program," Santos said of his latest signee. "Amy is incredibly quick defensively and a solid passer. She has great energy and we are excited about her competing for time as a libero this fall."
