Climbing the Charts
Both Tajion Jones and Coty Jude registered milestones in Saturday's 79-64 win over ETSU, as Jones moved into second place all-time for made 3-pointers at UNC Asheville (209) and Jude became just the fifth Bulldog ever to knock down 200 or more 3-pointers. Additionally, Jones jumped into 22nd place in UNC Asheville's all-time scoring history, totaling 1,211 points in his career thus far.

A Pember to Remember
For the second straight week, UNC Asheville's Drew Pember was named the Big South Men's Basketball Player of the Week. The junior averaged 16.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, scoring a career-high 27 points in the win over ETSU. With 46 blocks on the year, Pember ranks third in all of Division I in blocks and blocks per game (3.83).

Non-Conference Numbers
With its win over ETSU, the Bulldogs have won seven non-conference games for just the fifth time in the last 15 years. A win over Milligan would give Asheville eight non-league wins for just the second time in 14 seasons.

The Coach Connection
UNC Asheville head coach Mike Morrell is all-too familiar with Milligan, competing as a two-sport athlete (basketball, golf) for the Buffaloes before beginning his coaching career.

Scouting the Buffaloes
Milligan, which competes in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (NAIA) is just 1-10 pm the season, but was victorious in its most recent match, topping Toccoa Falls 90-52. Levontae Knox (13.3), Jackson Gabriel (10.9), Sami Sanad (10.6) and Trevor Hensley (10.5) all have double-figure scoring averages, with Sanad (5.5) and Knox (5.3) leading the rebounding effort. Five Buffaloes scored in double figures in the win over Toccoa Falls, with Hensley's 17 leading the way.

Series History
The Bulldogs have dominated the series to the tune of 30-8 all-time, winning all but one game since 1979. The two teams met on the exact same date three years ago, as Morrell picked up his second win at Asheville as Tajion Jones scored a career-high 30 points in the win.
