Kimble in Kimmel
Guard Quay Kimble has solidified his role in the rotation of late, having his best game in an Asheville uniform on Tuesday when he scored 20 points on 5-of-8 shooting at UT Martin. A graduate transfer from Lees-McRae, Kimble has knocked down the third-most 3-pointers on the team, going 17-for-30 (56.7%) on the season.

Three eyeing No. 2
Tajion Jones needs just four 3-pointers to pass JP Primm (205) and Andrew Rowsey (208) for second all-time in career 3-pointers at UNC Asheville. Fellow senior Coty Jude currently sits in seventh place all-time with 196 made 3-pointers.

Scouting the Bucs
ETSU's offense is led by redshirt junior Ledarrius Brewer who leads the team in scoring (12.8 ppg) while ranking second in rebounds (5.0), steals (16) and blocks (6). Senior guard David Sloan is pouring in 11.6 points per game and paces the team in assists, averaging 4.8 per game. Sloan and Jordan King (11.3 ppg) represent the biggest outside scoring threats for the Bucs, knocking down 23 and 26 threes, respectively, with Ty Brewer and Charlie Weber have solidified the low-post game.

Series History
ETSU has gotten the better of Asheville all-tome, but the teams have not met since December of 2015, when the Bulldogs scored an 84-64 victory over the Bucs. The win snapped a six-game winning streak in the series for ETSU, giving Asheville its sixth victory all-time over the Bucs (6-16). The two sides were slated to meet last year at the Harrah's Cherokee Center, but the game was canceled due to COVID.
