Men’s and Women’s basketball, Swimming & Diving to be featured
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Athletics will have its first "Noontime with the Bulldogs" edition of the semester on Wednesday, November 10. Sponsored by Mako Medical, the November 10 installment of "Noontime" will feature winter sports, with head coaches Mike Morrell (Men's Basketball), Honey Brown (Women's Basketball) and Elizabeth Lykins (Swimming & Diving) as the featured guests.
Both men's and women's basketball tip off their respective seasons on Tuesday, November 9. Men's basketball will visit UAB while women's basketball travels to UNCG. On Thursday, November 11, men's basketball will have its home opener against Brevard College (6:30 p.m.), while the women play its first home game on Monday, November 15, against Mars Hill (6:30).
Swimming and Diving, meanwhile, has gotten off to a record-breaking start this season, sporting a perfect 6-0 record with a recent 151-92 victory over Georgia Southern. Individually, Morgan Coughlen has started off her collegiate career in stellar fashion, breaking the school and freshman diving record twice already. Swim and dive will next compete the weekend of November 19-21.
