Men's Tennis wraps up play at Davidson Invitational

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team capped off play at the Davidson Fall Invitational on Sunday.
Jon Brann Reid and Harry Thursfield cruised in their doubles match, topping their opponents 6-1. Sirawit Daosaengsawang and Leo Bierbaum had a similar outing, winning 6-2 at the No. 2 doubles flight early, while Rafa and Bruno Serra edged out their opponents 6-4. Â
Daosaengsawang and Bierbaum would edge out another doubles victory at the No. 2 flight 7-6 later on, while Bierbaum and Bruno Serra scored singles victories. Bierbaum downed his counterpart in two sets, 6-3, 7-5while Serra gutted out a win at the No. 4 singles flight 6-4, 1-6, 10-5 (tiebreak).
The Bulldogs will have a weekend off before traveling to Greensboro to compete in the Spartan Invitational on October 15-17.
