Men’s soccer visits VMI for non-conference match Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's soccer team will hit the road on Saturday, traveling to VMI for a non-conference match with the Keydets.
Most recently, the Bulldogs fell to Campbell at home. Jake Kemhadjian has come on strong recently, as the redshirt junior scored his first goal in an Asheville uniform against Presbyterian and dished out an assist against Campbell. Kemhadjian's assist was to senior Evan Lewis, who scored for the first time in his Bulldog career.
Scouting the Keydets
VMI has had a rough go of it this season, sitting at just 1-14 overall. VMI's lone win came on September 28 at Eastern Mennonite (3-1), and have lost five in a row. Only four Keydets have found the back of the net this season, but Nathan Lam leads the way with four goals and one assist. Broden Schull has played every minute in net this year, totaling 82 saves.
The series has been dead even, with each team winning 10 and each team losing 10. The Bulldogs have been on a hot streak recently, winning the last three, all by one goal. The last two matchups have taken place in Asheville, with the Bulldogs defeating the Keydets 1-0, 2
