Big South Announces Men’s and Women’s Tennis Preseason Polls

Although the spring 2020 seasons were cut short due to COVID-19, both squads look to carry momentum into this spring's competition. In 2019, the men finished third in the Big South with a record of 6-1 in conference, and had won five of its last six matches, including a 4-3 victory over Winthrop, before the season was cut short. The women, who have just one freshman on their current roster, had a record of 8-2 last spring, with their last matchup being a 4-3 victory over Winthrop (March 6, 2020).
Both programs are scheduled to return to competition in the next month, with the men slated to open up at Davidson, and the women scheduled to host Mars Hill.
