UNC Asheville to Host French Broad Collegiate Invitational March 29-31

ASHEVILLE – UNC Asheville's women's golf team will host the second-annual French Broad Collegiate Invitational, March 29-31, at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.
This will be the second year for the Bulldogs to host their home tournament, which features FREE entry and parking for all three rounds, as well as the practice round, March 28. The Cliffs at Walnut Cove will again host the tournament at the 6,033-yard, par-71 layout.
Teams will play 18 holes each day, and rounds will begin with split tees off of Holes No. 1 and No. 10, beginning at 10 a.m.
In getting to the course, if fans put "The Cliffs at Walnut Cove" into a GPS, it directs to the wrong gate. Please use the address: 3 Cliffs Ridge Parkway, Arden, NC. This will take fans to the proper gate and staff can offer parking instructions.
In its second year, the tournament has grown from 36 holes of competition to 54 holes, and the field has grown from 11 teams to 15. Joining Asheville on the course will be: Appalachian State, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Lipscomb, Longwood, Northern Kentucky, Presbyterian, Radford, UNC Greensboro, USC Beaufort, USC Upstate, Western Carolina, Winthrop and Wofford.
