Bulldogs Through Two Rounds at Thompson Invitational

KANE'OHE, O'AHU, Ha. – UNC Asheville's women's golf team completed the first two rounds of play at the 35th-annual Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, Tuesday.
The Bulldogs currently sit in 16th place with an overall combined score of 672 at the par-72 Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course.
Sophomore Baylee Evans leads Asheville with a two-round score of 161, putting her in a tie for 80th on the individual leaderboard. She shot an 81 during her first round of action and followed with an 80 in the second.
Senior Kellen Alsip currently sits in a tie for 86th after shooting an 82 in Round One, followed with an 81 in Round Two for a score of 163.
Asheville will be playing with Xavier, James Madison and Montana State in the final round of competition, Wednesday, set to tee off at 8:05 a.m. local time (2:05 p.m. ET). Live stats will be available via Golfstat HERE.
