As a team, the Bulldogs finished Day One in a tie for 38th place in the field of 53. Their combined score of 315 is the team's third-lowest round of the season. They played the Oak Point Golf Club in the tournament hosted by College of Charleston.

Deery had one birdie on the front nine, coming on the par-4 third hole that she began her round on, and followed with three birdies on the back nine.
