Day Two of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in the Books for Asheville

GREENSBORO, Ga. – UNC Asheville's women's golf team finished the second day of competition at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, Saturday, at The Landing at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
The Bulldogs shaved seven stroked off their first-round team score, completing the day with a 334. They sit at plus-99 with a score of 675 after two days of competition.
Senior Linna Brooks posted the lowest round of the tournament so far for the Bulldogs with an 80. She sits at plus-23 for the tournament, tied for 67th. She led the Bulldogs with three birdies on the day.
After opening play on the 16th hole with a par, Brooks sunk back-to-back birdies, heading to the first tee at 2-under par for the day. After a tough front nine, she birdied the par-4 11th hole.
Senior Adelyn Deery is the Bulldogs' lowest individual scorer through two days, tied for 59th with a combined score of 164. She posted a second-consecutive round of 82. Her birdie on the par-3 17th hole was the only other birdie of the day for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs will complete the final round of the tournament, Sunday, teeing off from holes 14-17, and will again play with Albany as well as individuals from other participating teams.
