Big South Announces Women’s Soccer 2021 Spring Schedule

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference announced its 2021 spring women's soccer schedule will consist of nine matches scheduled from February 21-April 8. Teams will be permitted to play up to two non-conference/exhibition matches beginning on February 14.
Contingencies were built into the schedule to allow flexibility for completing the season in full. Each squad will have a floating mid-week match that will be scheduled during the first half of the season and no later than March 17. Matches scheduled for Sundays can be moved to the previous Friday/Saturday or the following Monday, if necessary.
UNC Asheville is currently set to begin its league schedule by hosting Campbell on February 21. The Bulldogs will also host Winthrop (March 14), Radford (Floating Mid-Week), and Gardner-Webb (April 3) at Greenwood Field this spring. Asheville is scheduled to travel to Charleston Southern (Feb. 28), High Point (March 7), Longwood (March 21), USC Upstate (March 28), and Presbyterian (April 8).
The Big South Women's Soccer Championship Semifinals and Finals will be held the week of April 12-18 with those dates to be determined at a later time. The top four teams in the final conference standings will advance to the Big South Women's Soccer Championship, which will be hosted by the higher seeded team throughout. The champion receives the Big South's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
The regular-season and conference tournament schedules are subject to change.
