Swim and Dive Kicks Off 2019-20 Season Saturday

LAWRENCE, KAN. – UNC Asheville's Swim and Dive team will kick off its 2019-20 season at the CSCAA National Collegiate Open Water Championships at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 14.
The event is hosted by the University of Kansas at Lone Star Lake in Lawrence, Kan. The 5,000-meter race (3.1 miles) will consist of a three-loop swim, with the women's portion of the event taking place at 10 a.m. The top eight individuals will be honored, along with the top team from the race.
The field for the women's race will consist of 80 individuals from colleges and universities from across the country.
UNC Asheville will feature its four Bulldog seniors in the event: Catherine Allen, Madison Rogan, Skylar Rogan and Adee Weller.

The Bulldogs will next take the pool at 12 p.m., Saturday, September 21, when they host their annual Intersquad & Alumni Meet at the Buncombe County Schools Aquatic Center.
