NINETY SIX, S.C. – UNC Asheville women's golf finished 10th at the Big South Women's Golf Championship at the par-72, 6,230-yard The Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor.
The Bulldogs ended their efforts with a final tally of 953 (328-312-313). Nationally 25th-ranked Campbell won the championship with a total team score of 869 (293-283-293).
UNC Asheville's Taylor Hinson was the top finisher for the Bulldogs. She concluded her efforts in a tie for 30th (81-80-76=237). UNC Asheville's Kellen Alsip (85-74-79) and Baylee Evans (79-79-80) both finished tied for 32nd at 238.
Adelyn Deery closed out the championship in 41st at 244 (84-79-81) at 244, while Janie Thomas (84-85-78) finished 43rd at 247.
High Point's Samantha Vodry claimed individual medalist honors with a three-round score of -4 212 (80-69-73).
