Brooks Tabbed to Big South Women’s Golf All-Academic Team for Second Straight Year

NINETY SIX, S.C. – For the second straight year, UNC Asheville's Linna Brooks has been tabbed to the Big South Women's Golf All-Academic Team.
The league office made the official announcement after the final round of the 2019 Big South Women's Golf Championship on Saturday, April 13, at The Patriot Golf Club.
A double major in Mathematics-Statistics and Economics, Brooks owns an incredibly impressive 3.933 grade-point average. She is also minoring in Computer Science.
A junior from Winter Garden, Fla., Brooks has been member of the Big South Presidential Honor Roll in 2016-17 and 2017-18. She is also a peer tutor in Economics and she volunteers her time at the Brother Wolf Animal Shelter. In addition, Brooks volunteers to do taxes for low income individuals and families.
