UNC Asheville Travels to Georgia Southern For Weekend Series

STATESBORO, Ga. – To open a five-game road swing, the UNC Asheville baseball team will travel to Georgia Southern for a three-game set, which begins on Friday, March 8.
About the Bulldogs
UNC Asheville travels to Statesboro with a 4-7 overall record. The Bulldogs are a respectable 3-2 in their last five games.
The Bulldogs' offense is led by Greg Gasparro and Dominic Freeberger. Both utility players have 13 hits each this year. They have combined for seven doubles, nine RBIs and 15 runs scored. Gasparro has an impressive .810 slugging percentage and a .652 on-base percentage.
