CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC Asheville swim and dive closed out the final four sessions of the Fall Frenzy Invitational Saturday and Sunday with some impressive swimming. The Bulldogs claimed a fifth place finish overall and claimed numerous season and lifetime best times throughout the three-day meet while also setting a new freshman relay record on Friday.

Saturday Prelims – Session Three:
The Bulldogs had an impressive morning of swimming in the third session of the Fall Frenzy Invitational.

Three Bulldogs earned a spot in the finals in the 400 IM with Madison Rogan leading the way with a season-best time of 4:34.21. Christina Marshall set a new personal-best in the event with a time of 4:37.29 and a spot in the C final. Ellis Nelson earned a spot in the D Final with a season-best time of 4:43.87.

Lexi Federico earned a season-best time in the 400 IM with a time of 4:57.45.

All five Bulldogs that swam in the 100 fly set new season-bests. Two of those Bulldogs, Madison Rogan and Anna Nabors, earned a spot in the C Final with times of 57.35 and 58.00, respectively. The other three season-best time came from Hannah Bruno (1:00.36), Alexis Baker (1:00.57) and Aleta Jewell (1:00.57).

The Bulldogs showed out in the 200 free with both Skylar Rogan and Adee Weller earning a spot in the A Final with season-best times of 1:52.23 (Rogan) and 1:52.92 (Weller). Bela Stuart Vieira earned a spot in the B Final with a new personal-best time of 1:53.74.

Jessie Frank claimed a spot in the C Final in the 200 free with a personal-best time of 1:55.12 and Nora Segurola Larrinaga also earned a spot in the C Final with a season-best time of 1:55.71. Christa Jones (1:57.49), Delaney Carlton (1:59.91) and Meredith Bunting (2:00.19) all swam season-best times in the 200 free as well.

Christina Marshall led the Bulldogs in the 100 breast with a personal-best time of 1:05.87 that earned a spot in the C Final. Lily Sullivan (1:07.25) and Amelia Ham (1:07.97) each earned a spot in the D Final with season-best times.

MacKenzie Humphrey (1:08.03) and Alexis Baker (1:08.46) both swam season-best times while Marlee Burgess swam a lifetime-best time of 1:10.44. Skye Lewis and Ellis Nelson added two more season-best swims to UNC Asheville's total with times of 1:11.60 (Lewis) and 1:09.10 (Nelson) in the 100 breast.

Four Bulldogs swam season-best times in the 100 back with Nora Segurola Larrinaga claiming a spot in the C Final with a time of 58.15. The other three Bulldogs to swim season-best times were Christa Jones (59.81), Lily Sullivan (1:00.66) and Lexi Federico (1:00.66)

In the 200 fly time trials Aleta Jewell swam a season best time of 2:12.53.  

Saturday Finals – Session Four:
In the 200 medley relay, the Bulldogs' A relay consisting of Nora Segurola Larrinaga, Christina Marshall, Anna Nabors and Delaney Carlton set a season-best time of 1:46.06 and an 8th place finish. The Bulldogs' B relay, Lily Sullivan, MacKenzie Humphrey, Madison Rogan and Hannah Bruno, swam a time of 1:50.44 and their C relay, Lexi Federico, Meredith Bunting, Ellis Nelson and Skye Lewis, swam a time of 1:54.82.

In the 400 IM, Madison Rogan led the Bulldogs with a 14th place finish with a season-best time of 4:33.32 while Ellis Nelson also set a season-best time of 4:38.56. Christina Marshall swam a time of 4:41.17.

Two Bulldogs, Anna Nabors and Madison Rogan, earned a spot in the 100 fly finals and both Nabors (57.11) and Rogan (57.34) set new season-best times in the event.

Skylar Rogan led the way in the 200 free finals with a fifth place finish with a time of 1:52.26. Adee Weller finished in seventh place with a time of 1:53.02. Bela Stuart Vieira claimed the Bulldogs' third top 10 finish in the event with a new personal-best time of 1:53.49. Jessie Frank and Nora Segurola Larrinaga both set personal-best times in the event as well with times of 1:53.76 (Frank) and 1:54.51 (Segurola Larrinaga).

Christina Marshall led the Bulldogs with a 15th place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.96 while Lily Sullivan set a new lifetime best time with a time of 1:06.99. Amelia Ham and MacKenzie Humphrey finished back to back with times of 1:08.32 (Ham) and 1:08.76 (Humphrey).

Nora Segurola Larrinaga swam a time of 57.98 in the 100 back.

In the 800 free relay, the quartet of Skylar Rogan, Adee Weller, Jessie Frank and Bela Stuart Vieira finished in fourth place with a time of 7:34.12 while Meredith Bunting, Aleta Jewell, Alexis Baker and Christa Jones swam a time of 8:03.65.    

Sunday Prelims – Session Five:
The Bulldogs put together an exciting morning of swimming during session five with multiple Bulldogs qualifying for the finals in session six.

Nora Segurola Larrinaga earned a spot in the B Final in the 200 back with a season-best time of 2:04.43 while Christa Jones qualified for the C Final with a season-best time of 2:09.87.
Lexi Federico also swam a season-best time of 2:13.13.

Bela Stuart Vieira earned a spot in the A Final with a lifetime best time of 52.18 in the 100 free. Delaney Carlton and Jessie Frank both earned spots in the B Final with lifetime best times of 52.95 (Carlton) and 52.52 (Frank). Adee Weller earned a spot in the C Final with a season-best time of 52.97 while Hannah Bruno also swam a season-best time of 55.54.

Bela Stuart Vieira's lifetime best in the 100 free didn't stand for long as the freshman set a new lifetime best in the 100 free in a swim off with a time of 51.66.

Two Bulldogs, Ellis Nelson and Amelia Ham, earned a spot in the D Final in the 200 breast while Nelson swam a lifetime best time (2:27.81) and Ham swam a season-best time (2:29.08).

Lily Sullivan (2:29.50), Christina Marshall (2:29.53) and Alexis Baker (2:29.71) all swam season-best times in the 200 breast while Marlee Burgess set a new lifetime best time in the event with a time of 2:34.47. Three more Bulldogs earned season-best times in the event with MacKenzie Humphrey (2:35.12), Meredith Bunting (2:36.52) and Skye Lewis (2:38.24) all accomplishing the feat.

In the 200 fly, Madison Rogan earned a spot in the A Final with a season-best time of 2:04.57 while Anna Nabors earned a spot in the B Final with her own season-best time of 2:07.32.  

Sunday Finals – Session Six:
Skylar Rogan led the Bulldogs with a fifth place finish in the 1650 free finals with a season-best time of 17:08.12 while Aleta Jewell wasn't far behind with her own season-best time of 18:45.32.

Nora Segurola Larrinaga set a new lifetime best time in the 200 back with a time of 2:03.74 which put her in 11th place. Christa Jones set a season-best time in the event with a time of 2:08.61.

Bela Stuart Vieira paced the Bulldogs in the 100 free with an eighth place finish with a time of 52.19 while Jessie Frank swam a lifetime best time of 52.47. Delaney Carlton wasn't far behind with a time of 53.22 while Adee Weller swam a season-best time of 52.87.

In the 200 breast finals, Ellis Nelson finished with a time of 2:28.00 while Amelia Ham swam a season-best time of 2:28.78.

Madison Rogan claimed an eighth place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 2:05.19 and Anna Nabors was right on her heels with a season-best time of 2:06.37 and an 11th place finish.

The quartet of Nora Segurola Larrinaga, Jessie Frank, Adee Weller and Bela Stuart Vieira secured a sixth place finish in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:29.01. UNC Asheville's B relay consisting of Skylar Rogan, Madison Rogan, Alexis Baker and Delaney Carlton finished the event with a time of 3:34.88.
