Bulldogs Set to Compete in NKU Fall Invitational

UNION, Ky. – UNC Asheville's women's golf team is active for the second straight week as it travels to the Northern Kentucky University Fall Classic, Monday and Tuesday, October 7-8.
It is the fifth consecutive year the Norse have hosted the NKU Fall Classic, and the third year in a row the Bulldogs will compete in the event. They took home the team championship in their first appearance in 2017.
First-round action will begin, 9 a.m., Monday at the par-72, 6,256-yard layout of Lassing Pointe Golf Course. The tournament consists of 36-holes of competition, with 18 holes to be played Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday's action is set for a shotgun start of 9 a.m., as well.
The starting five for the Bulldogs will be seniors Adelyn Deery, Kellen Alsip, Janie Thomas and Linna Brooks, and sophomore Baylee Evans. The Bulldogs will be paired up with Dayton and Eastern Illinois to begin play, and will tee off from holes 12 and 14-17.
Also competing in the event are host Northern Kentucky, IUPUI, Illinois-Chicago, Morehead State, Green Bay and Bellarmine University.
