Bulldogs Finish Up Fall Slate with Day Two of the Terrier Intercollegiate

TERRIER INTERCOLLEGIATE FINAL RESULTS
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNC Asheville's women's golf team completed its fifth and final tournament of the fall schedule, Tuesday, as it played the third round of the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford.
After entering the final round in 14th place in the 16-team field, the Bulldogs finished the event in the same position at the par-72 Carolina Country Club, ending with a combined team score of 954, 13 strokes clear of 15th-place Presbyterian.
For the second round in a row, UNC Asheville shaved three strokes off its combined team score from its previous round, completing the third round of competition with a 315, which was 10th among all teams, Tuesday.
Senior Kellen Alsip had the low round for the Bulldogs, firing a 76 for her third sub-80 round of the tournament and her lowest score of the event. She paced the Bulldogs with three birdies in her round, including two on the back nine. Her three-round score of 233 was tied for 28th on the individual leaderboard.
Baylee Evans had the second-lowest round of the day for UNC Asheville, finishing just behind Alsip with a 77. The sophomore was aided by back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes. Seniors Adelyn Deery and Linna Brooks each finished with an 81 in the final round of competition.
The Bulldogs have four months off during the winter before their next competition. They will resume play, February 21-23, at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational, hosted by Mercer.
