Bulldogs to Wrap Up Fall Slate at Terrier Intercollegiate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNC Asheville's women's will compete in its fifth and final tournament of the fall schedule when it plays in the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford, Monday and Tuesday.
Action is set to begin with a shotgun start, 8:45 a.m., Monday at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
It will be a crowded field, as 16 teams are set to participate. In addition to the Bulldogs, other Big South Conference members set to compete in the event are: Winthrop, Charleston Southern, High Point, USC Upstate, Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb.
Also in the field are the host Terriers, Samford, Eastern Kentucky, Appalachian State, SCAD, Limestone, The Citadel, North Alabama and USC Beaufort.
The Bulldogs' starting five will include seniors Janie Thomas, Linna Brooks, Adelyn Deery and Kellen Alsip, and sophomore Baylee Evans. Freshman Bri Orr will compete as an individual.
The Bulldogs enter the tournament having played a week ago, finishing seventh at the Blue Hose Match Play. Deery had a strong showing, winning all three of her individual matchups.
