Bulldogs Complete Second Day of Competition at Starmount Fall Classic

GREENSBORO N.C. – UNC Asheville's women's completed its second tournament of the 2019-20 season, finishing in 10th place at the Starmount Fall Classic, hosted by UNC Greensboro, Monday and Tuesday.
The Bulldogs entered Tuesday in 10th place with 18 holes left at the Starmount Country Club. Sophomore Baylee Evans had the low round of the day for the Bulldogs, firing a 77 that included birdies to close out the front and back nines.
Senior Adelyn Deery finished as the Bulldogs low scorer for the tournament after posting an 81 in her final round to finish with a three-round score of 239 and a tie for 35th on the individual leaderboard. Evans jumped up to a tie for 41st with her Tuesday round to finish as the Bulldogs second-lowest scorer.
The Bulldogs will hit the links again next week when they travel to Northern Kentucky to participate in the NKU Fall Invitational, Monday and Tuesday, at Lassing Pointe Golf Course.
