CLINTON, S.C. – Now toting a four-game win streak, the UNC Asheville women's basketball team travels to Presbyterian College on Tuesday, Jan. 29 inside the Templeton Center.

About UNC Asheville
 
UNC Asheville travels to Clinton with a 9-9 overall record and a 4-3 mark in Big South Conference games. In fact, the Bulldogs have won four straight league games over Campbell, USC Upstate, High Point and Longwood.
 
During that stretch, three Bulldogs are averaging double figures in Sonora Dengokl (25.3 ppg), Zip Scott (11.0 ppg) and Jessica Wall (10.5 ppg). Overall the trio of Bulldogs have totaled 48 percent of the UNC Asheville points in the four-game stretch. Between Scott and Wall, the Bulldog duo have combined for 17 three-pointers, 15 free throws and 15 steals.
 
Freshman center Evonna McGill has also been a force offensively, as she has averaged 7.8 ppg to go along with her six rebounds per contest. Brooke Jordan-Brown also matched McGill with six boards per game. McGill and Jordan-Brown have combined for eight of the nine blocks for UNC Asheville in the last four games.
 
As a team, the Bulldogs are outscoring the opposition by 51 total points in the last four games (plus-12.8 points). Asheville has made 18 more field goals and is shooting over seven percent better than opponents in the last four games. The Bulldogs are also making more trips to the free throw line (98-50) and are converting on more free throws as well (68-35). Defensively, UNC Asheville holds a plus-10 rebounding margin per game.   
 
Scouting Presbyterian
 
The Blue Hose are 4-14 overall and 2-5 in league games. They have defeated Longwood and USC Upstate this year in league contests. In home games this year, PC is 3-3 with victories over Wofford, Longwood and USC Upstate.
 
Three Blue Hose are averaging double-digit scoring, as Kacie Hall leads PC with 14.8 ppg. She has played in all 18 games (17 starts) and averages 35.7 minutes per game. Shamani Stafford (10.4 ppg) and Salina Virola (10.1 ppg) are the other two Blue Hose averaging double figures. They have also played in all 18 games this year. Trinity Johnson leads PC in total assists with 64, but Hall is right behind her with 62 total assists. The two Blue Hose have also combined for 45 total steals.
 
Defensively, Virola is Presbyterian's leading rebounder with 139 total rebounds (7.7 rebounds per game). Ninety-seven have come on the defensive glass, while a team-leading 42 boards have been offensive rebounds. Tess Santos (4.5 rebounds per game) is the only other player that is averaging four or more rebounds per game for PC. 
 
All-Time History Versus the Blue Hose
 
Tuesday's meeting will be the 26th all-time meeting between the Bulldogs and Blue Hose. UNC Asheville holds a narrow 13-12 lead on Presbyterian, as the Bulldogs have won six out of the last nine games. However, Presbyterian has won three out of the last four, including two straight games.
 
In last year's matchup in Clinton, the Blue Hose upended the Bulldogs, 72-63, in overtime. UNC Asheville's Bronaza Fitzgerald went off for 24 points on 10-for-11 shooting. She grabbed 12 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass. Khaila Webb added 14 points on five made field goals, and Wall contributed nine points on three made three-pointers.
