Nolan and Patten Advance to Semifinals at Southern Intercollegiate Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – With two wins on Sunday, the UNC Asheville men's tennis doubles duo of Oli Nolan and Henry Patten have advanced to the semifinals at the 51st Southern Intercollegiate Championships at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
In the round of 16 on Sunday, Nolan and Patten bested Ayed Zatar and Valentino Caratini of Georgia Gwinnett, 8-3, to move on to the quarterfinals.
Nolan and Patten then downed Kiranpi Pannu and Matei Avram of NCAA Division II national champion Columbus State, 8-6, to advance to the semifinals.
The Bulldog doubles duo of Nolan and Patten will take on Jan Zielinski and Robert Loeb of Georgia in the semifinals on Monday for the right to advance to the finals at the prestigious event.
