UNC Asheville Hosts Annual Intrasquad, First-Ever Alumni Meet on Saturday at Justice Center Pool

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – In conjunction with its annual intrasquad meet, the UNC Asheville swimming & diving team will host its first-ever alumni meet on Sept. 29 at the Justice Center Pool at 11 a.m.

About the Meet
The annual intrasquad and first-ever alumni meet will begin at 11 a.m. in the Justice Pool with the 200 medley relay.
There are three teams competing – the Blue, Silver and Alumni teams. The Blue squad is led by junior team manager Alex Schneider, and the Silver team is led by senior team manager Hannah Stuart.
Every current swimmer is allowed to participate in four events, but every Bulldog must compete in at least one event.
There are 17 total events with three events being alumni-only events – 50 freestyle, 50 non-free or 100 individual medley and 150 free relay. The first event of the meet is the 200 medley relay, and the meet will conclude with the 400 free relay. There will also be three 10-minute breaks throughout the entire meet.
