Patten Advances to Round of 16 at Oracle ITA Masters

MALIBU, Calif. – UNC Asheville's Henry Patten advanced to the round of 16 at the 2018 Oracle ITA Masters with a first round win over Lorenzo Fucile of Grand Canyon.
The two-time reigning Big South Player of the Year picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win over Fucile to move on to the round of 16 where he will take on Aleks Kovacevic of Illinois on Friday.
In mixed doubles, Patten teamed with reigning Big South Women's Tennis Player of the Year Lauren Proctor of Winthrop to start the day with a win in the round of 32 in mixed doubles before the duo bowed out in the round of 16.
The 2018 Oracle ITA Masters is being held September 20-23 in Malibu, Calif. at the Malibu Racquet Club and Pepperdine University.
