Five Bulldogs Named WGCA All-America Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – For the second consecutive year, five members of the UNC Asheville women's golf team have been named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Scholars.
The five Bulldog golfers were five of 1,011 women's collegiate golfers to receive the prestigious honor.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
The five Bulldogs to collect the prestigious honor were Kellen Alsip, Becca Black, Linna Brooks, Adelyn Deery and Taylor Hinson.
As a team, the UNC Asheville women's golf team posted a 3.587 grade-point average in the 2017-18 athletic year.
