UNC Asheville Men’s Tennis Closes Out Regular Season at Elon

ELON, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team will close out their 2018 spring regular season with a 3 p.m. match at Elon on Tuesday, April 10.
BULLDOG BITES
Playing Well
Currently ranked 76th nationally, Henry Patten has won his last seven in singles. He has a team-best 10 singles wins on the 2018 season. In doubles, Patten and doubles partner Olly Cull are presently ranked 38th nationally with 11 wins on the season with all of the wins at No. 1 doubles. Oli Nolan and Edward Colclough at No. 2 doubles have won their last six.
About the Bulldogs
UNC Asheville enters its final match of the regular-season with a 7-11 record overall. The Bulldogs closed out their conference campaign with a 2-5 record.
About Elon
The Phoenix welcome the Bulldogs owning a 13-7 record overall. Elon has three players with 10 wins in singles with Felipe Sarrasague currently 10-7 at No. 1 singles. Mario Paccini and Neal Port are 9-4 at No. 1 doubles for the Phoenix, while Salvador Mijares and Sarrasague are 9-4 at No. 2 doubles.
