UNC Asheville Picks Up Dominating Win Over Emmanuel

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's tennis completed a perfect weekend with a 7-0 sweep of Emmanuel at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
The win over Emmanuel (5-5) comes one day after UNC Asheville (7-4) picked up an impressive 6-1 home win over Wofford at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
UNC Asheville started the match by easily sweeping doubles with the No. 1 tandem of Hannah Francisco and Kylee Shipley collecting their ninth doubles win of the year as a duo. They are now 9-2.
UNC Asheville won five of the six singles matches in straight sets with Emily Sidor garnering her eighth straight win and first of year at No. 1 singles with 6-1, 6-1 win over Emmanuel's Fantine Botella.
Christin Louw earned her fourth straight win with a 6-2, 3-6, 10-8 win at No. 4 singles over Emmanuel's Victoria Silva.
UNC Asheville next hosts the women's tennis "Battle of the Bulldogs" at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
