Bulldogs Drop League Road Match at Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Liberty in Big South Conference action on Saturday, March 10.
It would be Liberty (9-7, 3-0 Big South Conference) that would collect the doubles point, but UNC Asheville (3-8, 0-2 Big South Conference) did earn the win at No. 1 doubles.
The dominating 6-2 win for Henry Patten and Olly Cull at No. 1 doubles over Eddie Gutierrez and Vince Salas allowed the duo to improve to 6-0 on the season.
UNC Asheville's lone win in singles came at No. 4 singles where Cull bested Salas 6-3, 3-6, 7-5. The victory was Cull's team-leading seventh singles win of the season.
UNC Asheville will next have just over a week off before continuing league play against Radford in Radford, Va. at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 18.
