UNC Asheville Concludes Regular Season This Weekend at Home Against North Florida

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville swim team concludes its regular season this weekend in a two-day dual meet against North Florida in the Justice Center Pool on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.Â

About the Meet
This weekend's meet will feature two sessions as the Bulldogs will be competing Friday night and Saturday morning.Â
Friday's meet will be dedicated to the Vs. Cancer Foundation where donations will be collected to help kids fight cancer. If you cannot attend the meet on Friday and wish to donate, the link can be found by clicking HERE.Â
Prior to competition on Saturday, UNC Asheville will recognize its eight graduating seniors beginning at 10:40 a.m., and the meet will commence at the conclusion of the festivities.Â
The meet features a few more events than usual as there are two more relays each day, an additional distance event and an extra individual medley. This gives both teams an opportunity to swim in all but one of the events that will be featured at the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Conference Championship in mid-February in Athens, Ga.Â

"I am so pumped to go against UNF this weekend and to celebrate Senior Day with my fellow seniors. As it is my last dual meet ever, I'm hoping to sweep the 200 backstroke with my two fellow senior classmates, Stephanie Smith and Alejandra Sanchez Garcia. I am very sad that my four years in college are coming to an end. However I am very grateful that I have made it this far, and that I'm able to share this day with my family and teammates."
