Bulldogs Conclude Competition at ETSU Invitational on Saturday

RESULTS
JOHNSON CITY, TENN. – The UNC Asheville men's and women's track and field teams had some strong performances on Saturday as the Bulldogs concluded competition at the ETSU Invitational.
Highlights
In the women's 3000m, four Bulldogs placed in the top 25 in the highly competitive field. Senior Phoebe Schneider paced the squad as she finished 12th with a 11:06.27. Kelley Coleman and Kamryn DeCarmo finished 16th and 17th, respectively, as they were within two and a half seconds of each other. Maddie Lowe rounded out the top 25 finishes for Asheville as she clocked a 11:39.52.
On the men's side of the same event, sophomore Thomas Little finished 26th as he was the lone Bulldog representative in the 3000m.
Three runners finished in the top 30 of the men's one mile as Graham Parker led the trio (23rd) with a 4:41.61. Matthew Barrera placed 26th (4:43.60), and Quin Meyer (29th, 4:44.73) rounded out the finishes for Asheville.
What's Next?
Both track & field teams will make a quick turnaround as both Bulldog squads will return to action in Lexington, Va. on Jan. 19-20. UNC Asheville will travel to compete in the Keydet Invitational, which is hosted by VMI.
