Women's Golf Wraps Up Day One at Low Country Intercollegiate

Field: Wofford, Seton Hall, Bethune-Cookman, The Citadel, Dalton State, Gardner-Webb, Appalachian State, Navy, High Point, USC Upstate, Longwood, Presbyterian, Quinnipiac, SCAD Savannah, Bucknell, USC Beaufort and UNC Asheville.
Location: Moss Creek Golf Club, Hilton Head, S.C.
Date: March 18-19. The event is a 36-hole tournament, with 18 holes on Saturday and Sunday.
Hilton Head, S.C. – The UNC Asheville women's golf team completed day one of the Low Country Intercollegiate at the Moss Creek Golf Club. The Bulldogs are in 14th place after 18 holes (+45).

Asheville's Rebecca Black led the way for the Bulldogs as she was 8-over after 18 holes. Black shot an 80 on day one.
BULLDOG BITES
THE FIELD AFTER DAY ONE: Dalton State is in first place after day one. The Roadrunners are (+31) as a team. Four other Big South Conference schools are in attendance for the two-day competition including High Point (+32), Gardner-Webb (+37), Presbyterian College (+42), and Longwood (+54).

LEADING INDIVIDUAL: Celia Mansour of Presbyterian College is leading the field at 1-over through 18 holes of play.
