Bulldogs Fall at Campbell in Final Road Match of Regular Season

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – UNC Asheville dropped its final road match of the 2017 regular season in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-20) league loss to Campbell on Saturday afternoon.
UNC Asheville (11-14, 7-7 Big South Conference) was led in the match by Ava Venema with seven kills. She also had one block.
Reigning Big South Player of the Week Cara Guthrie finished with nine digs and six kills. Ansley Rooks also had nine digs and six kills in the match. Julia Loveday had five kills.
Madisen Zyburt led the Bulldogs in the match with 13 digs. KK Haley had 10 digs in the match for UNC Asheville.
Kailey Hackett finished the match with 16 assists to lead the Bulldogs in the category. Carter Kennedy finished with nine assists and six digs.
Allena Heath closed out her afternoon with 16 kills to lead the Camels (19-9, 9-5 Big South Conference) in their win. Jessica Stocking was right behind her with 15 kills.
