Nolan and Patten to Represent Bulldogs at Carolina ITA Regional

CARY, N.C. – The UNC Asheville men's tennis team will continue their fall campaign by competing in the USTA/ITA Carolina ITA Regional this weekend at the Cary Tennis Park.
The tournament that will feature 128 competitors in action from Friday, Oct. 13-Tuesday, Oct. 17, will be co-hosted by Duke and NC State.Â
The singles and doubles winners from each of the 12 USTA/ITA regions will advance to the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, held November 1-5, at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, Calif., and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.
UNC Asheville will be represented at the event by junior Henry Patten and freshman Oli Nolan.
Nolan will open things at the event for the Bulldogs by taking on Gardner-Webb's Paul Hogan at 8 a.m. on Friday.
The reigning Big South Player of the Year, Patten will take on Elon's Neal Port at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
