ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's volleyball team dropped a three set match to Campbell in Buies Creek Friday night.
The Camels took the first set 25-21 which was as close as the Bulldogs would get all night, with Campbell closing the second set 25-16.
Campbell wrapped up the match 25-16 to sweep the Bulldogs in three.
NOTABLES
-The Bulldog offense was led by Madison Vaughn with 8 kills on 19 attempts (.263). Freshman Carter Kennedy was the most efficient hitter for Asheville at .667.
-Asheville setters Kailey Hackett (11) and Carter Kennedy (9) dished out a combined 20 assists in the match.
